WIN £500 OF INSERT COIN TREATS in OUR 2024 PIN COMPETITION

You probably know we give away free pins with orders each month – and we want to invite YOU to help design some of the ones we release in the future.

Create an awesome new pin design, send it in and we will choose our favourite finalists – who we’ll then post up for the final public vote.

The design with the most likes by the closing deadline will then win £500 of IC vouchers and be the FIRST community made pin in our collection. All the other finalists will bag a £50 IC voucher and will ALSO be made into IC pins in the future too. 

Here are the competition requirements…

– The design should be about celebrating community video games geek lifestyle and being part of our community.
– The design CANNOT include any licensed property, or element of a licensed property, whatsoever.
– Limit yourself to FIVE colours, not including the metal background of the pin. 
– Each colour must be outlined by the metal colour and the coloured enamels must fill in the gaps. 
– The metal background can be gold, silver, brass or black. 
– All parts of the design must be connected to each other. 
– Fine detail doesn’t work on pins, so keep them simple. 
– Artwork must be supplied as a standard file type 
– .ai or .eps preferred but .jpg, .png or .psd are fine too. 

Once you’ve got your design send it to info@insertcoinclothing.com with the subject heading ‘2024 PIN DESIGN COMP’ before the closing date of 11:59pm UK time on 23rd June 2024. 

The judging team will then pick their favourites and then it is down to our community to pick an overall winner. Please note, our design team may tweak or adapt your design to work better as a pin.

Remember ALL finalists will get £50 of IC vouchers and have their design made into promotional pins on our store but the finalist with the most likes will bag a £500 IC voucher and their pin will be made FIRST!

AND we will also reward ALL entrants with a £5 voucher to say thank you for taking part – which will be sent once the competition closes. It’s one voucher per person, although you can submit multiple entries – we will only pick one design per person to reach the finals and only one entry will net you a £5 code.

Insert Coin reserves the right to amend these Ts & Cs at any time. Only designs sent to info@insertcoinclothing.com will be entered into the competition. Any designs depicting anything deemed unsuitable or offensive by the judges – or including licensed material or intellectual property – will not be entered into the competition and will not be eligible for submission or an entry prize / reward. The closing date for submitting images is 11:59am UK time on 23rd June 2024. We reserve the right to amend or tweak the design as needed should it require additional work. Entry constitutes an agreement that any design progressing to the ‘finals’ stage of the competition will become the property of Insert Coin and could be made into a pin or other product for future promotional or retail purposes. The judges will select their favourite pins for the final selection process. Designs selected for the finals may be tweaked, amended or edited by our design team to ensure they are replicable as pin designs in the future. The Insert Coin formatted version of designs will be the images posted in the finals gallery. The finalists will be promoted on a special Facebook gallery, with the entrant with the most likes (including all ‘like equivalent’ interactions) by the deadline winning the overall competition and the prize. No cash alternative is available for the main or runners-up prizes or for the eligible entry reward. The judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. We maintain the right to disqualify any finalists if there is any evidence of unfair acquisition of ‘likes’ through purchasing, trading, apps or other unsporting methods – or dock ‘likes’ from a total accordingly. Our decision is final in this matter. Employees of Insert Coin and their families are not permitted to enter the competition. The design with the most confirmed likes at the end of the announced selection process will be declared the winner and will be notified by email. In the unlikely event of a tied vote, the judges will select a winner from the entries with the most nominations. Confirmed likes do not include any likes obtained by unfair means or that have been docked / voluntarily deducted from a photo’s total amount of likes. 
The main competition prize is a £500 gift card to spend on www.insertcoinclothing.com, valid for one year, supplied by email to the winning address as soon as possible after the final competition deadline. The code will must be applied to the winner’s Insert Coin account wallet. The runners-up will each win a £50 gift card via email as soon as possible after the final competition deadline. All other entrants will receive a £5 voucher just for taking part after the final competition deadline. Vouchers supplied are valid until the end of 2024 and the usual fair usage terms and conditions apply. Vouchers cannot be used to purchase gift cards, bundles, postage or some selected items.
